Why could not Moses enter the land flowing with milk and honey?
According to the biblical narrative in the book of Deuteronomy, Moses could not enter the land flowing with milk and honey (also known as the Promised Land) because of an incident that occurred at a place called Meribah. In this incident, the Israelites were thirsty and complained to Moses, accusing him of bringing them out of Egypt into the desert to die of thirst.

In response, Moses was instructed by God to strike a rock with his staff, and water would flow out for the people to drink. However, in his frustration with the Israelites' continuous lack of faith, Moses struck the rock twice instead of speaking to it, as God commanded. This act of disobedience was seen as a lack of trust in God's power and provision.

Due to this disobedient act, God declared that Moses would not lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. Instead, Moses was allowed to see the land from a distance before his death, and the leadership of the Israelites was entrusted to Joshua, who would lead them into the Promised Land. This was seen as a consequence for Moses' disobedience and a way for God to uphold His justice and discipline.
